Week 7 has been a busy time with final preparations for the Year 6 Open Evening, a Year 9 trip to Silverstone Museum, enrichment activities, Harry Potter Book Day for Year 7, and a Year 8 Learning Pathways Evening, while welcoming MP Chris Curtis to discuss school developments and addressing the importance of respect for school facilities and our nut-free policy.

Week 6 saw Year 10 enjoy an Art trip to the Tate Modern and a Navy Careers Event, Year 11 Health and Social Care students attend the Care Show, and a successful Year 9 Learning Pathways Evening, alongside reminders about uniform, punctuality, and fostering respect within the school and local community.

In Week 5, Year 11 students completed mock exams with resilience, FOWA held a successful doughnut sale, and Thames Valley Police provided safety guidance on e-scooters, while the school celebrated sporting achievements, art successes in the Age UK competition, and the launch of the Art Department’s Instagram account.

In Week 4, Year 11s excelled in mock exams, after-school clubs began, FOWA held their AGM, sports teams secured victories, staff supported Macmillan Cancer Support, and students’ artwork was showcased in the Age UK competition.
