In November 2023 the Department for Education approved the addition of a new Sixth Form at Watling Academy. Our Sixth Form will open from September 2025. This exciting development will provide our students with the opportunity to further their education until the end of Year 13. With a focus on academic excellence and personal growth, the new Sixth Form will offer a range of subjects and qualifications to suit the needs, and match the interests, of current Watling Academy students.
Please note that in September 2025, our Sixth Form will only be available to students who are already in Year 11 at Watling Academy.
Our core themes of Milton Keynes, STEM and Sustainability provide the foundations of our Sixth Form curriculum. The curriculum will complement the options our students currently take at GCSE, to enable them to continue their studies in their chosen subjects, but will also include some exciting options which will be new to students.
The addition of a Sixth Form at Watling Academy will provide a seamless transition for students who wish to continue their education in a familiar and supportive environment. With experienced and dedicated teachers, fantastic facilities, and a focus on student well-being, the new Sixth Form will provide a full educational experience.
