Open Evening
On Thursday 19th October, Watling opened its door to hundreds of local families with Year 6 children to find out more about what our school has to offer. The event ran well, and there was a palpable buzz in the air as visitors explored the campus and spoke with our knowledgeable staff and 250 enthusiastic student helpers.
Our Headteacher, Mr Bacon spoke proudly in his presentation about our school, extracurricular activities, and community outreach initiatives. He was supported brilliantly by Elliott, a Year 7 student who described his experience of joining Watling.
The open evening was a fantastic showcase of the best of what Watling has to offer. A big thank everyone who attended for their interest and support, and we look forward to welcoming many new students in the coming year.
