Thank you to all Parents and Carers who came to our Academic Mentoring Afternoon yesterday. These events are held twice a year in school, providing an important opportunity for you to talk to your child’s Tutor face to face and is something that we value in the calendar at Watling.

It’s been another busy week at Watling Academy, and a very wet and windy day today.

I hope everyone enjoyed their half term break. It has been great to welcome students back to school this week.

As we reach the end of a busy and rewarding term, I want to take a moment to thank our staff, students, and families for their continued support and commitment.

As we approach the end of this half-term, it’s encouraging to see how settled the school feels. Routines are well embedded, and students are clear on our high expectations; both in terms of behaviour and learning.

We have reached the end of another busy week at Watling. There has been a huge amount of activity in school this week, with more trips, fixtures and activities. As we finish the 6th week of term, I have been pleased to see an increase in overall student attendance this week.
