New Chief Executive Appointed to the Denbigh Alliance MAT
The Denbigh Alliance Multi Academy Trust, which is made up of Denbigh School, Watling Academy and Watling Primary School (opening in September 2023), has announced the appointment of a new Chief Executive Officer, Sue Collings.
Sue is currently CEO of an educational trust in Hertfordshire and has over 30 years’ experience within schools. She will bring a wealth of experience in leading the Trust, raising standards even further and supporting the MAT’s educational plans.
Sue said: ‘I feel very privileged and honoured to be leading the Denbigh Alliance MAT at this exciting time as it develops and supports the wider educational plans for Milton Keynes. I look forward to building on the excellent outcomes of the Trust and working with everyone involved.’
John Cove, Chair of the Board of Trustees at the Denbigh Alliance MAT said: ‘My colleagues and I are pleased to welcome Sue and we look forward to working with her as we implement our exciting plans for the future. Meanwhile, the current CEO, Ian Joyce, will take up a new senior position within the Trust which will be essential to the Trust’s development. The focus of the Trust has always been on Care, Education and Opportunity for students and staff, and we are confident that Sue and Ian will continue to drive this with an innovative and dynamic approach.’
