As January draws to an end, my first month at Watling Academy has flown by.

A warm welcome to this week’s update from us here at Watling Academy.  We have had a busy and very successful week and some of our highlights are shared with you here – superb debating, future thinking, and sporting prowess amongst them.

As this term draws to a close, I wanted to take a moment to express my thanks to you all.

Today, we have been looking very festive as we take part in Christmas Jumper Day to raise funds for Save the Children.

This week has been an exciting one for Watling Academy! 

On Thursday, our Year 11 students took part in Futures Day, a dedicated programme designed to inspire, inform, and empower them as they prepare for important decisions about their post-16 pathways.

It feels like the term is going by quickly and we have now reached the end of November! We have had a busy week at school and it has been brilliant to have some extensive careers activities in school this week, supported by our external industry partners.
